What Kai Havertz did to Jordan Pickford after Chelsea’s penalty against Everton

Chelsea striker Kai Havertz scored three goals in as many games in the Blues’ 2-2 draw against Everton. The German striker converted his penalty to give the Graham Potter team a 2-1 lead at Stamford Bridge.

Earlier in the match, João Félix’s opener was canceled with a header from Abdoulaye Doucour before Havertz was rewarded with a pressing shot to restore his team’s lead. The penalty was awarded after Rhys James was knocked down by Ben Godfrey with about 15 minutes left.

The 23-year-old converted the ball well, sending Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford the wrong way. Immediately after he saw the ball crash into the back of the next, Havertz had a message for the visiting goalkeeper.

He was seen holding his hands to his ears in front of the England team as he mocked an opponent’s number. Chelsea fans loved the reaction and tweeted their surprise:

However, Chelsea were unable to hold onto their lead as Ellis Simms equalized for Everton late in the match to share the trophy.
