Maxi Kleber on Kyrie Irving: ‘He’s a very, very good teammate’

Maxi Kelber played his seventh match after an almost three-month absence due to injury. The 31-year-old German power forward made a breakout three-pointer to send the Mavericks past the Lakers (111-110).
He landed the winning shot after passing his new teammate Kyrie Irving. Kleber described the 2016 NBA champion as a great teammate who brings positivity to the team.
“He knows how to talk to people, where to set them up, sees the power in the players and knows what to expect from them,” Kleber said of Irving, according to Mark Medina. “He is a very, very great teammate. He always has a positive attitude and has words of encouragement.”
