Gilbert Arenas reveals his MVP rating

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas gave his opinion on who deserves this year’s MVP award. He agrees with the popular opinion that Nikola Jokic is the leader.
“Right now, I still have the Joker (as my MVP),” Arenas said on SiriusXM Radio. “Just because he’s a big man doing something that’s never been done for a big man and that’s an average triple-double being number one. It’s just that it’s very, very difficult to do as a person, as a basketball player. But to be a big man who has the passing ability that he has, but also scores and rebounds.”
The other two players in the Arena MVP top three are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid, with the former ranked higher.
“The second close will be the Greek Freak. What he has done in the last three years is to keep this team number one, number two every year. Going all out, putting your heart out for this franchise and this city.
Embiid is the third. I don’t see a quantum leap from Embiid. Last year he averaged 31 points per game, this year he averages 33, last year he had more rebounds, this year he has fewer rebounds. Takes off a lot of things, usually dies out in the fourth quarter when tired. But Embiid did what Embiid did. It’s nothing special for me to make him an MVP leader.”
