Close friend of Julian Nagelsmann hints at his future when Tottenham contact him
Ernst Tanner, a close friend of Julian Nagelmann and former youth team coach, shared his thoughts on what the German’s next move could be. Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich and replaced by former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel during the international break.
The ex-Bayern boss is now linked with a move to north London to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham. The Italian returned to duty last week after only 16 months on the job and has now sent a message to fans after his departure.
Club chairman Daniel Levy said in a statement: “We have 10 Premier League games left and we have a Champions League spot to fight for. We all need to come together. our club and wonderful, loyal fans”

Tanner believes his close friend Nagelsmann should take a break before deciding his next move, but sees the English top flight as the next “logical step”. Tanner said SPORT1: “The coaching market is very tight, especially in the top segment, and German coaches are incredibly important abroad.
“So Julian doesn’t have to worry about his next job. Despite his young age, he has experienced everything in Germany, and I don’t know how much he still likes it.
Real Madrid will definitely be an option again, but in terms of language and interests, I see England as the next and logical step. I dare to doubt if it should be Tottenham in a hurry.
“We have known and trusted each other for 20 years. I would advise him to take a break first, think and not jump too fast into the next shark tank. He also needs time to recover and prepare well for the next station. .”
The Spurs contacted Nagelsmann about their vacant managerial position. Sky Germany. The former Bayern boss is believed to be in no hurry to decide on his future, despite reports that also link him to Real Madrid – Carlo Ancelotti is rumored to be Brazil’s next coach.
Report from daily mail claims Levi has made Nagelsmann his “main target” to replace Conte at the N17 and asks the German for clarification as to whether he is interested in replacing the Italian at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The immediate availability of the 35-year-old, as well as the fact that he can be appointed without compensation, makes him a very attractive candidate.
