Ben Simmons’ season is over.

Ben Simmons, 26, will no longer play for the Brooklyn Nets this season, head coach Jacque Vaughn said Tuesday.

The Star Guardian will begin a rehabilitation program for his aching back.

According to Vaughn, the doctors did not recommend surgery and the procedure is “not foreseen.”

“Our doctors and specialists feel and think that he will make a full recovery,” Vaughn said, “so let’s start right now.”
