Bianca Andreescu left the court in a wheelchair on Monday night in Miami, forced to retire with a lower left leg injury that was clearly tormenting her.

“Woke up with a bandage on my leg… does anyone know what happened?” Andreescu wrote. “Seriously… that was the worst pain I have ever felt… praying for nothing serious. Still waiting for official results. Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words, they did not go unnoticed.
